Scientific Symposium
ENABLE is more than just a regular conference. Participants will have opportunities for scientific exchange through short talks and poster presentations, and will also be able to share their personal experiences with the invited speakers during social events and career chats.
The scientific program covers a broad range of topics, from basic to clinical research, and will end with a Round Table with Helen Lee and other PIs about challenges and possible career paths for scientists. This year, the symposium will feature lectures from 7 highly-renowned keynote speakers grouped into four sessions which cover driving topics of modern research.

Further scientific activities
Plenary debate
During the Wednesday plenary debate we will have an opportunity to discuss the Future of Science with experts coming from research, clinics, pharma/biotech companies, and journalism. We want to single out the main challenges that science faces nowadays and to think of what needs to change and how each of us can contribute in order to promote a better future and create a more collaborative scientific environment.
Short talks
Young researcher (PhD and PostDoc attendees) will be selected to present their current results and goals, alongside renowned speakers, in 15-minute presentations, including questions from the audience.
Round table with peers
On Friday evening, we will conclude the ENABLE scientific symposium with a Round Table debate where our attendees will have a unique opportunity to interact with scientists and leaders from academia and industry and gain insight into their career paths, obstacles they have encountered and how they overcame them as well as their general views on life in Academia. We are very excited to announce that Dr. Helen Lee, a leader in building diagnostics platforms will be joining us as our honorary host who will guide the Round Table discussion and share her experience as a scientist and entrepreneur.
Poster sessions
Students are invited to present their own work in three poster sessions during the scientific days of the symposium.
