Marta Alonso’s research seeks to develop new therapeutic strategies for pediatric solid tumours, brain tumours and sarcomas. Her lab, supported by an ERC Consolidator Grant, aims to modify the dynamics of the immune system through the use of tumour-specific oncolytic viruses, and to potentiate effective clearance of tumour tissue.
